By enrolling a student at Inspirations Dance, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
Payments & Fees
Classes are invoiced on a Monthly basis (if your child cannot attend a class, you will not receive a refund). No refunds will be given under any circumstances unless classes are cancelled. Any goods (e.g uniform) must be paid for prior to ordering.
Inspirations Dance operates for 47 weeks of the year, with the annual cost of classes divided equally over 12 monthly payments.
The monthly fee is calculated as:
Class price × 47 weeks ÷ 12 months
Monthly payments are due on the date stated on the invoice.
Inspirations Dance does not operate on a pay-as-you-go basis.
No refunds or reductions will be given for missed classes, including holidays, illness, appointments or other personal circumstances, unless the class is cancelled by Inspirations Dance.
Any goods, including uniform, clothing or other merchandise, must be paid for in full before an order is placed.
Families with two or more students enrolled will receive a 10% discount on the second child and subsequent children.
Termination of classes
To terminate a student’s enrolment, one month’s notice must be provided in writing.
Fees remain payable throughout the notice period, whether or not the student attends classes.
Overdue Payments & Debt Recovery
To ensure that we can continue providing the high standard of classes, teaching and experiences our students enjoy, it is essential that fees are paid promptly.
Unfortunately, we are spending an increasing amount of time chasing overdue fees, with unpaid invoices now amounting to several thousand pounds. This takes valuable time away from running the school and supporting our students.
As a result, the following procedure applies to overdue accounts:
• If fees remain unpaid 14 days after the due date, the student’s classes will be suspended until the outstanding balance has been settled.
• Suspension of classes does not cancel or reduce the outstanding balance.
• Suspension of classes does not cancel any applicable notice-period fees.
• Any account that remains unpaid following our final reminders may be referred to Federal Management, our appointed professional debt recovery agency.
• Any additional costs or fees that are legally recoverable as a result of debt recovery may be added to the outstanding balance.
• Inspirations Dance reserves the right to refuse further enrolment where an account remains seriously overdue.
We sincerely hope that debt recovery will not be necessary. However, we can no longer continue to absorb the time and costs associated with repeatedly pursuing overdue payments.
If you are experiencing genuine financial difficulties, please contact us before your payment becomes overdue. Where possible, we will discuss the situation with you and may agree a suitable payment arrangement.
We greatly appreciate the support of the vast majority of our families who pay their fees on time and help us keep Inspirations Dance running smoothly.

Class times, teachers, venues and timetables are subject to change at the discretion of Inspirations Dance.
Where a significant change is required, families will be notified in advance wherever reasonably possible.
Inspirations Dance reserves the right to combine, alter or discontinue classes where necessary, including where student numbers are insufficient to operate a class effectively.

Duty of care, safety & conduct
Dance, acrobatics, cheerleading and other physical activities involve an inherent risk of injury.
Due to the nature of dance and the requirements of teaching and safely assisting students, it may sometimes be necessary for a member of staff to use appropriate physical contact with a student. Any physical contact will be appropriate, proportionate and carried out for teaching, positioning, assistance or safety purposes.
All teaching staff are appropriately trained for their roles and hold the required safeguarding checks, including a current DBS certificate where applicable.
Inspirations Dance takes reasonable steps to provide a safe environment for all students while they are attending classes.
All reasonable steps will be taken to minimise the risk of injury. However, accidents can happen and participation in physical activities carries an inherent risk of injury.
Inspirations Dance will not accept responsibility for injury or loss arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control or from risks inherent in participation, except where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Behaviour & Conduct
Inspirations Dance is committed to providing a safe, positive and respectful environment for everyone.
Students are expected to behave appropriately and follow the instructions of teachers and staff.
Inspirations Dance reserves the right to suspend or remove a student from the programme, without refund, where they are found to be bullying, intimidating, abusive, repeatedly disruptive or engaging in serious misconduct.
Parents and guardians are also expected to treat staff, students and other families with courtesy and respect.
Inspirations Dance reserves the right to take appropriate action where the behaviour of a parent, guardian or other visitor negatively affects the safety or wellbeing of students, staff or other families.

Inspirations Dance operates safeguarding procedures designed to protect children and young people attending our classes and activities.
Parents/guardians must follow all safeguarding instructions provided by staff, including arrangements for dropping off and collecting children, access to the premises and photography/video restrictions.
Inspirations Dance reserves the right to refuse access to any person where management reasonably believes that doing so is necessary to protect the safety or wellbeing of students or staff.

This may include, but is not limited to:
• Serious or repeated disruptive behaviour;
• Bullying or intimidation;
